An Exciting 2021 Review + A Look Ahead to 2022

As I look back on 2021, it is apparent that it was a very full and exciting year. So today, I'm going to share what made it that way and my goals for 2022.  I may add to those goals or adjust them as needed because if the last two years have taught us anything, it is to be flexible and adapt.

2021 Highlights

The two significant highlights from last year are both personal and professional.

The number one highlight was the birth of my grandson, Cosimo. He joins his sister, Freya, as the apples of my eye!

The second highlight was winning a first-place award in WF-Vision's design competition. Of course, my goal is always to surpass clients' and designers' expectations, but recognition by my peers is very rewarding.

I was growing weary by the end of the year, and after looking at my sales for the year, I know why- I was super busy!  Most of the new business was from referrals, and I can't thank you enough!

New Year, New Goals

My goals for 2022 are to increase work efficiency, learn to reupholster, continue teaching and mentoring, and improve my organization. I plan on setting aside time each week to stay organized. I know I'm not alone with this struggle!

I'm taking a little time off this month to re-organize the layout in my workroom for a better workflow and reupholster a small chair (wish me luck). So watch for the blog where I will share the results.

I'm looking forward to teaching again at the Custom Workroom Conference in October and continuing as a mentor in a workroom group.

How Can I Help You in 2022?

What are your goals this year? If they involve renovating a room or adding to it, I'd like to help. This can be overwhelming if you don't know where to begin.

Contact me, and let's get started. I want you to have the satisfaction of checking that off your to-do list.

Until next time,

Laura
