With many choices available, your first step is identifying your desired aesthetic or functionality. Do you want privacy while still desiring natural light? Ideal options include top-down/bottom-up shades, shutters, or café curtains. Need to control light in a bedroom? Opt for room-dimming shades or panels with blackout lining.
