How to Make the Most of Your Window Treatment Consultation

The most important part of a successful window treatment project is the consultation. Today I'll be giving you 4 helpful ideas on how to complete your "homework" before we meet. (Since it's August, I thought I'd use a little school jargon.)
Tip #1: Clarify Your Goals
Knowing what your goals are for your space is the first step in achieving them. Do you want a room makeover, or is this a newly built space? If this is a large project, decide if you want to complete it all at once or finish it in stages.
Top Down Bottom Up shades are a great solution for privacy while still enjoying the view.
Tip #2: Know Your Budget
Having some idea of what your budget is will be very helpful to both of us. If you've never had custom window treatments, how do you know what they cost? I get it. Before the in-home visit, I'll email you starting costs based on photos and information you've sent me. If it isn't what you had in mind, we can scale it down to fit within your budget.

Tip #4: Bring Your Trusted Advisors
Lastly, have anyone who will be making the decision with you at the consultation. This may be your spouse/partner or a trusted friend. This first meeting typically lasts 60 minutes, so in order to maximize our time together, it would be helpful to minimize any distractions (I'll have my phone on silent!)
Fabric shades provide insulation and privacy when needed. The drapery panels not only frame the windows, but add softness to a large room.
If you're ready to get started creating the perfect window treatments for your home, book a consultation today.
Until next time,
